Pelvic organ prolapse is a condition that is diagnosed when an organ around the pelvic area such as the bladder drops from its normal location and leans against the walls of the vagina. This can happen when the muscles that hold the pelvic organs in place get weak or stretched after surgery or childbirth.

It is not uncommon for many women to have some kind of pelvic organ prolapse. Eventhough It can be uncomfortable to suffer from this condition, it is not typically a major health issue. In some women, with appropriate excerices and treatment it can get better with time.
