New Group Joins Genensis Healthcare Partners in San Gabriel
SAN GABRIEL, CA (October 2018) – Genensis Healthcare Partners is proud to announce its newest location at 207 S. Santa Anita St. Suite P-15 in San Gabriel, CA, with physicians Dr. Ken D. Nguyen and Dr. Tim Chen. The physicians begin seeing patients October 4, 2018.
“I am honored to be part of Genensis Healthcare Partners, an organization that empowers and promotes the independent practice of gastroenterology physicians,” states Dr. Nguyen, “with inSite’s help, we will expand access to quality gastroenterology care in the San Gabriel Valley.” Dr. Nguyen earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He returned to Los Angeles where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He went on to complete a specialty fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he trained with Dr. Tim Chen.
Dr. Tim Chen earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. “I am excited to be a part of a gastroenterology group that prides itself on providing quality, evidence-based care to patients,” said Dr. Chen. He returned to his hometown of Houston to complete his three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology before relocating to Los Angeles.
Dr. Chen and Dr. Nguyen specialize in various areas of comprehensive gastrointestinal care, including routine Colonoscopy and Endoscopy, management of advanced liver disease, screening and management in Gastric Cancer in the Asian population, capsule endoscopy, and small bowel enteroscopy.
